Travel to attend college fairs and visit schools/colleges to recruit prospective students; Act as a point-of-contact for prospective students considering enrolling in an online or in-person program at the institution; Spend time on the telephone or virtual/video chat engaging online or in person prospective students in discussion about their future with the goal of setting an enrollment plan; Develop enrollment plans, taking into account prerequisite needs, admission requirements, program offerings, student interests, and career goals; Counsel and work with prospective students and their families in various settings; Mentor students from the application process through enrollment; Meet metrics by demonstrating high level of product/program knowledge and meeting specific student recruitment goals; Assume responsibility for managing and updating computerized prospective student database, application paperwork, and follow-up documentation; Maintain accurate knowledge of graduate and undergraduate programs (both online and in person), university student services, and peer institutions' offerings; Interpret and disseminate university policies and procedures; Help plan, implement, and execute recruitment strategies and events; Perform all other duties as assigned. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Maintain correspondence with high school guidance counselors and other representatives of student populations to facilitate open communication and good relations; Provide unofficial transcript evaluations to assist prospective transfer students; Work with enrollment management/admissions representatives from other colleges and universities to establish appropriate methods for the recruitment of students; Assist in planning/organizing recruiting events.
