Admissions RepresentativeReports to the Vice President of Enrollment. Is primarily responsible for participating in meaningful recruitment travel and events as well as successfully managing a pool of prospective students with the objective of converting prospective students to applicants and converting applicants to enrolled students.Responsibilities:• Plans, schedules, and participates in relevant recruitment events. Works with Vice President to review travel plans.
• Participates in long and short range travel, as required. Completes post travel/event reports.
• Gives large and small group presentations while speaking informatively and enthusiastically on behalf of the college. Its academic programs, student services, athletic teams, clubs, and organizations.
• Develops and maintains close working relationships with all organizational contacts including counselors, advisors, faculty, and other opinion leaders and partners.
• Maintains timely communication and enrollment counseling to prospective students and applicants.
• Manages applicant files, maintains persistent regular contact with applicants through the drop, and add period. Ensures students have completed all necessary steps to start classes (e.g. housing application, registered for classes, financial aid file complete, transcripts received, etc.)
• Provides an informative and welcoming environment for prospective students and their families during a campus visit, campus tour, or university event. Assists with group tours.
• Documents and schedules all communication and activities with prospective students in the college's CRM.
• Assists with placement exams both on campus and at remote locations.
• Represents Thomas University in a positive, non-biased, non-offensive manner.
• Works as a team player in order to meet the goals of the university in keeping with the TU mission statement.
• Planning and coordinating on campus events for prospective students and families. This may be individual or in large groups.
• Evaluating transcripts and test scores to determine admission.
• Analyze, evaluate, and work with Marketing to create effective materials for recruiting
• Works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with periods of frequent travel.
Other duties as assigned.Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred.
Record of successful sales and sales management
Prior college admissions experience preferred.
Familiarity with Sales Force or other Customer Relationship Management software preferred.
Microsoft Office experience.
Public speaking experience.
Experience working with high school, adult military and online markets highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience with military preferred.Work Requirements:Must be able to travel occasionally overnight

This position ensures athletic events run smoothly from a communications and operations standpoint while promoting the department through game day storytelling and box scores.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGame Day Operations<ul><li>Coordinate all game day sports information operations for home athletic events.</li><li>Oversee setup and operation of live statistics, scoreboards, livestream broadcasts</li><li>Manage and assign game day staff, student workers, statisticians, camera operators, broadcasters, and replay personnel.</li><li>Ensure all technology and equipment related to stats, broadcasting, and livestreaming are functioning properly prior to competition.</li><li>Serve as the primary contact for game operations communication between officials, visiting teams, broadcasters, and athletic staff.</li><li>Organize game scripts, ticketing, timing sheets, media seating, and operational flow to ensure contests run efficiently and professionally.</li><li>Maintain accurate game statistics and distribute post-game reports to coaches, conference offices, and media outlets.</li></ul>Athletic Communications<ul><li>Write game previews, recaps, and press releases for all athletic programs.</li><li>Provide real-time score updates and game coverage for the Social Media Specialist.</li><li>Coordinate photography, video highlights, and digital content during athletic events.</li><li>Promote student-athletes, coaches, and teams through creative storytelling and media relations in conjunction with the sports website and social media specialist.</li></ul>Media & Broadcasting<ul><li>Oversee livestream production for home events, including camera setup, graphics, audio, and commentary.</li><li>Coordinate broadcast talent and ensure quality production standards are met.</li><li>Work with conference and national offices regarding streaming requirements and statistics reporting.</li></ul>Administrative Responsibilities<ul><li>Train and supervise student workers and graduate assistants assigned to sports information duties.</li><li>Assist with championship events and special athletic department functions.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of conference and NAIA statistics and reporting requirements.</li><li>Support branding and promotional initiatives within the athletic department.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Communications, Journalism, Broadcasting, or related field preferred.</li><li>Experience in athletic communications, sports information, broadcasting, or game operations preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of live stats software, livestreaming platforms</li><li>Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as required by athletic schedules.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced athletic environment.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with video production and replay systems.</li><li>Familiarity with StatCrew, Genius Sports, Hudl, PrestoSports, or similar athletic software systems.</li><li>Leadership ability in supervising game day staff and student workers.</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to lift and move broadcasting or event equipment as needed.</li><li>Ability to stand and work extended athletic events indoors and outdoors.</li></ul>Education Required:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree required.
