While performing field service duties, employees may frequently work near moving mechanical equipment and may occasionally encounter wet or humid conditions, elevated work areas, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, electrical hazards, and vibration. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of CNC controls and electrical I/O, with experience on Siemens, FANUC, Mazak, or similar control systems, along with the mechanical aptitude to diagnose problems, take equipment apart, make repairs, and get machines back into operation.
