Additional "Counseling" responsibilities for staff that hold a Masters Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field: Sexual Assault Counseling is survivor-centered counseling with the goal of supporting the survivor's recovery process through listening, encouraging, validating, reflecting, giving resources, and providing a safe counseling environment. Cultivate and maintain relationships with players in the criminal justice system, emergency room personnel, rape crisis center staff in order to coordinate services in the best interest of the survivor and their non-offending family members.
