What We're Looking ForQualified candidates will have:A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field and at least five years of quality control or inspection experience in a machining or manufacturing environment; or at least 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degreeAt least three years of PC-DMIS programming and hands-on CMM operationStrong working knowledge of metrology, inspection methods, and quality assurance systemsThe ability to interpret 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, and ASME Y14.5 GD&TExperience with root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality-data reportingProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookThe ability to travel up to approximately 20%Legal authorization to work in the United StatesExperience with aerospace or piston-engine components, FAA regulations, ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems, supplier auditing, and Non-Destructive Testing is preferred. This hands-on role combines quality engineering, CMM programming and inspection, quality-system improvement, supplier development, and problem-solving across the manufacturing operation.
