Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on, in-person clinical skills training OR a minimum of one (1) year of experience working specifically in the role of a Medical Assistant, LPN, Paramedic or EMT performing direct patient care and clinical support functions consistent with MA scope of practice Required. The MA will assist with patient rooming, allergy testing, allergy immunotherapy injections, vaccine administration, spirometry along with chart prepping, phone calls, patient messages, faxes, medication authorizations, and quality assurance tasks.
