The librarian will provide professional development opportunities for faculty and staff; oversee faculty contracts for OER/AIM adoption compensation; work with campus constituents to implement a process that enables faculty to identify zero/affordable course material courses at the time of course development/identification each semester so that Students will be able to search for zero cost or low cost courses when searching for classes each semester; develop documentation to be disseminated on the College's webpage as well as directly to students about zero/low-cost course offerings. Required Experience: At least 2 years’ experience working in a library; strong understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in education, research, and digital literacy; familiarity with ethical considerations in AI, including bias, misinformation, and academic integrity; understanding of copyright, open licensing, fair use, author rights, archiving rights, and institutional repositories; strong understanding of open educational resources (OER) and open pedagogy; strong customer service ethic focus with a passion for the profession.
