The 35-bed Med Surg/Tele unit maintains a busy but collaborative team culture with robust departmental support including CNAs, unit secretaries, charge nurses, a PICC team, discharge nurses, resource team, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, intensivists, and a Central Telemetry Unit, all available around the clock. • Unit-specific equipment includes VS3 vital sign monitors, portable vital signs monitors (Dynamapp), bladder scanners, portable oxygen systems, external fixators, chest tubes, JP drains, Hemovac drains, glucommander, PCA pain management, and suction machines.
