The Aluminum Welder I will be responsible for performing welding tasks according to specifications, ensuring quality welds and adherence to safety standards. We want your confidence and determination to shine in all you do - join our team today!  Location/Schedule: Macon, GA / 1st shift & 2nd shift RequirementsWhat You’ll Do: <ul><li>Read welding detailed drawings to understand welding requirements. </li><li>Use a cutting torch to prepare materials for welding. </li><li>Perform plasma arc cutting as needed for specific welding tasks. </li><li>Grind welds to achieve smooth finishes and meet quality standards. </li><li>Produce quality welds that meet or exceed industry standards. </li><li>Set up equipment for stick welding and perform stick welding as required. </li><li>Find drawings on the server to reference welding requirements. </li><li>Perform simple fit-up of materials for welding projects. </li><li>Achieve job utilization at 85% daily to meet production targets. </li></ul>Who You Are: <ul><li>Previous experience as a welder with aluminum experience required.</li><li>Proficiency in passing tests related to measurements, including tape measure, protractor, and caliper tests. </li><li>Ability to read welding detailed drawings accurately. </li><li>Experience using a cutting torch and performing plasma arc cutting. </li><li>Knowledge of grinding techniques to achieve smooth weld finishes. </li><li>Strong welding skills to produce quality welds that meet industry standards. </li><li>Ability to set up equipment for stick welding and perform stick welding. </li><li>Familiarity with finding drawings on servers and referencing welding requirements. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to perform simple fit-up of materials. </li><li>Commitment to achieving production targets and job utilization goals. </li><li>Adherence to safety protocols and procedures for welding operations. </li></ul>BenefitsWhat We Offer: <ul><li>Excellent Compensation (2nd shift = 15% shift diff)</li><li>Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance  </li><li>Health Savings Account  </li><li>Life & Disability Insurance  </li><li>Employee Assistance Program  </li><li>Team Meetings   </li><li>Employee Committees & Involvement  </li><li>Bonus Incentive Program  </li><li>Community Service Day  </li><li>Team Events & Activities  </li><li>Awesome Company Culture </li></ul>**We kindly ask that applicants refrain from contacting the company directly regarding application status.
