Accounts Receivable: Administer and assist with department functions, including management of the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely billing, collections, and reporting of outstanding balances, operating related accounting systems, and preparing financial data for integration to the city's general ledger in accordance with Washington State BARS requirements and city policies. These positions will manage accounts receivable, account reconciliations, journal entries, interfund transfers, accounts payable, vendor relationships, and purchasing cards (P-cards), while ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including excise and leasehold tax reporting and 1099 form processing.
