Job Responsibilities: - Daily operation of forklift to handle customer freight; - Unloading and loading of freight from flatbeds, containers, and dry vans; - Picking freight from warehouse to ship for customer orders via outbound trucks; - Transport product to designated storage areas in warehouse; - Regular handling of oversized, non-palletized freight; - Check product for accuracy in inventory, damage, infestation, etc. and notify office of any issues; - Maintenance of working area; - Occasional manual loading/unloading of boxes; - Chocking and bracing to secure freight in trucks Qualifications: - Valid Forklift Certification (you will also be required to complete an on-site test and skills evaluation). Requires adjusting body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot and stand for long periods of time; - Having a good sense of balance; - Having good hand-eye-foot coordination; - Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights; - Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot and cold) depending upon season, but not required to remain outside in extreme weather; - Exposed to outside dust and dirt, sunlight, exhaust, and fuel fume odors; Company Values: Exceptional Service: Exceeding expectations.
