THE POSITION: A member of the Finance & Treasury department and performs a wide variety of advanced professional, analytical, financial, budgeting, and other administrative duties in providing responsible staff support in the preparation, development, monitoring, and implementation of City budgets; conducts research and analysis in a variety of areas including financial planning and financial operations; and performs a variety of complex technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. This position works in an office environment with exposure to computers and other office equipment; travels from site to site and may require maintaining physical condition necessary for reading and writing; operating computer and other office equipment; standing and sitting for prolonged periods; ability to exert light physical effort light and moderate lifting pulling, pushing, kneeling, bending; communicate in person and by telephone.
