GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION: Teach didactic courses and coordinate clinical education within the Associate of Applied Science Health Information Technology (HIT )program, including planning, supervising, and evaluating student clinical experiences at affiliated healthcare facilities while providing instruction in health information management, coding, and related coursework. Additional responsibilities include maintaining office hours, traveling to clinical sites to support student learning and healthcare partnerships, serving on college committees, participating in professional development and faculty evaluations, promoting the department and its mission, supporting student success, and contributing to college and community activities.
