The Medical Director operates within a highly integrated, hospital-partnered model, working in close collaboration with Hospital Presidents, Chief Medical Officers, surgical leadership, perioperative services, nursing, and enterprise partners to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient anesthesia coverage that supports BayCare’s acute care mission. The Medical Director serves as the senior physician leader for BayCare Medical Group Anesthesiology, with responsibility for clinical excellence, professional practice, workforce leadership, and operational performance of anesthesiology services across the majority of BayCare’s acute care hospitals.
