Throughout the day, you'll be responsible for working collaboratively with other staff, veterinarians, fosters, adopters, and leaders to address pet health needs with a focus on achieving positive outcomes, and after-hours, you'll have opportunities to earn supplemental on-call pay in addition to your base salary through rotational on-call responsibility for providing virtual and on-site support for foster pet health emergencies. This position requires the ability to work extended hours at times, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays, to respond to staff and foster emergencies, usually virtually, but there may be occasions that require you to meet a staff member or foster on-site at Burlington Animal Services Pet Adoption & Resource Center.
