We are looking for a 2nd shift packager to join our team to make high quality food ingredients! Pay averages $30/hour without working OT! What you'll do: <ul><li>Package yeast powder which goes into food products, cat food, livestock feeds, and probiotics </li><li>Stack powder bags on pallets and operate a shrink wrapping machine </li><li>Take samples of product to ensure quality standards are met </li><li>Operate and monitor equipment (forklifts and bagging equipment) </li><li>Perform cleaning for your assigned area that complies with company and government policy </li><li>Fill out required paperwork related to run rates, product types, and production summaries </li><li>Follow food and safety standards/good manufacturing practices </li></ul>What you'll bring: <ul><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work both 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, as well as weekends </li><li>Ability to read, write, and a desire to learn about equipment/food manufacturing </li><li>Ability to lift up to 55lbs regularly, position 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time, assemble equipment, and work safely in hot environment </li></ul>What you'll get: <ul><li>Excellent compensation, with built in shift premiums and OT, average pay exceeds $30/hour!</li><li>Great benefits with low premiums, including; medical, dental, vision, and life insurance </li><li>Pension through Central States to grow your retirement fund </li><li>Paid vacation time and earned time off </li></ul> About Sensient: Sensient Technologies Corporation is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts.
