This may include development of scope and fee, proposal preparation, participating in interviews for potential projects, assisting with contract negotiations, developing and managing field exploration and laboratory testing programs, geotechnical analysis of complex engineering problems, preparation of deliverables, participation in project/client meetings, visiting project sites, invoicing, and assisting with invoice collection. Potential exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, flying lint or dust particles, outdoor weather conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration; all of which would require employee to follow proper safety procedures and utilize appropriate protective equipment.
