The position assists with clearly defined tasks that may include researching internal survey records, deeds, easements, plats, right-of-way information, and existing project data; organizing and reviewing survey information; performing basic survey computations; preparing or updating maps, drawings, spreadsheets, databases, and other project documentation; and supporting limited CAD and GIS assignments. Working under the direction and supervision of experienced survey personnel, the intern will gain practical experience applying academic knowledge to real-world surveying, mapping, and Electric Transmission project assignments.
