<div>Electrical Technician – HVAC Location: Davenport, Iowa (Onsite) Job Type: Full-Time The Electrical Technician – HVAC will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and leadership for HVAC and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting both planned and unplanned maintenance activities across production systems. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide technical and tactical support for equipment breakdowns and outages in production centers </li><li>Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems including chillers, compressors, and air conditioning units </li><li>Support specialized systems such as: <ul><li>Direct Fire Melt Furnaces </li><li>Allen Bradley PLCs </li><li>RS Logix systems </li><li>AC/DC drives </li></ul></li><li>Assist engineering teams with commissioning, testing, and upgrades of equipment </li><li>Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions </li><li>Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and maintenance procedures </li><li>Train and mentor technicians and supervisors to improve technical capabilities </li><li>Manage HVAC spare parts inventory and vendor coordination </li><li>Ensure compliance with EPA Section 608 refrigerant regulations</li><li>Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs </li><li>Create and manage maintenance schedules and material planning </li><li>Ensure adherence to safety standards and EHS policies </li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED (mandatory) </li><li>Minimum 5+ years of HVAC experience in industrial/manufacturing environments </li><li>Hands-on experience with: <ul><li>Scroll, screw, and centrifugal compressors </li><li>Air conditioning systems (up to 25 tons) </li><li>Water-cooled chillers (up to 200 tons) </li></ul></li><li>EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (Section 608)</li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems </li><li>Experience with: <ul><li>Brazing copper/brass </li><li>Manifold gauges </li><li>Vacuum systems and refrigerant charging </li><li>Superheat and subcooling calculations </li></ul></li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools </li></ul>Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills<ul><li>HVAC apprenticeship or Mechanical degree </li><li>Experience with large systems (100+ ton AC / 500+ ton chillers) </li><li>Knowledge of HVAC control systems: <ul><li>Johnson Controls Metasys </li><li>Liebert Systems </li><li>Trane Tracer Summit </li></ul></li><li>Understanding of process control and instrumentation </li><li>Ability to read electrical & mechanical schematics </li><li>Cooling load calculation experience </li><li>Prior team leadership or mentoring experience </li></ul>Work Conditions<ul><li>Primarily Monday–Friday schedule </li><li>Flexibility required for off-shift support based on business needs </li><li>Onsite role in a manufacturing plant environment </li></ul> Recruiter Submission Template Full Name: Degree / Certification with Institution and Completion Year: (High School Diploma / GED – Mandatory | HVAC Apprenticeship / Mechanical Degree if applicable) EPA 608 Certification (Y/N – Details – Mandatory): Years of HVAC Experience (Industrial/Manufacturing): Experience with HVAC Systems (Details – Mandatory): (Include compressors: scroll / screw / centrifugal, tonnage handled, chillers, etc.) Experience with Electrical Systems & PLCs (Details): (Allen Bradley PLC, RS Logix, AC/DC drives, troubleshooting) Experience with Refrigerant Handling (Details): (Brazing, vacuum, charging, superheat, subcooling, EPA compliance) Experience with Preventive Maintenance & Breakdown Support (Details): Experience with Root Cause Analysis & Troubleshooting (Details): Experience with HVAC Control Systems (Details): (Johnson Controls Metasys / Trane / Liebert – if applicable) Experience with SOPs, Work Instructions & Training (Details): Experience with Spare Parts / Vendor Management (Details): Motivation / Reason for Relocation (if not local): Motivation / Reason for interest in this position: Contact Number: Email ID: LinkedIn Profile URL: Full Address (Street, City, State, Zip Code): Notice Period (in weeks): Current Work Authorization Status: Expected Salary: Are you able to relocate on your own expenses and work in Davenport, Iowa (Onsite)? </div>
