Required experience includes dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, rapid response, cardiac procedures, central line and arterial line management, cardiac/vasoactive drips, respiratory support, tracheostomy and ventilator care, and complex medical-surgical patient care. The unit is the hospital’s dedicated IMC unit and cares for patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including complex cardiac, neurological, respiratory, and post-operative conditions.
