Makes necessary repairs to malfunctioning equipment such as replacement of fan belts, replacing and rebuilding pumps, replacing seals, bearings, motors, repairing water and steam coil leaks and repairing and recharging refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Makes spot repairs and adjustments to systems as necessary and/or notifies HVAC Operating Engineer of any problems, i.e., downed equipment, floods, leaks, or any irregularities regarding HVAC equipment and public safety on hospital property.
