Job Description The Mechanic Helper helps HVAC Mechanics and building maintenance staff inspect, maintain, repair, and install commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This includes chillers, heat pumps, split systems, rooftop units (RTUs), air handling units (AHUs), pumps, cooling towers, variable air volume (VAV) systems, and the controls that operate them.
