Troubleshoots electrical problems such as short circuits or faulty wiring in light fixtures or power outlets, tracing electrical problems to their source using meters and other diagnostic equipment completing the repair work. The Apprentice Electrician assists other electricians in diagnosing, repairing, installing, testing and maintaining high and low voltage electrical equipment and hard wired and wireless telecommunication systems.
