This position will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist (Recent Graduate) receiving training in the principles, concepts, work processes and regulations of several functional areas of facilities operations management such as: As a Facility Operations Specialist (Recent Graduate), your typical work assignments may include: Assists in analyzing long-range facility needs and identifying issues that may impact operations, including damage from natural events. Performing maintenance or construction work, including estimating material and labor costs for a variety of construction or maintenance projects (such as construction or maintenance of brick, frame, structural steel, reinforced concrete, and other type structures ranging from one- or two-story buildings to larger structures), directing actual work operations, and maintaining appropriate contacts with the organization funding the project.
