Operates and maintains hot water boilers, steam boilers, chillers, pumps, air handling units, water softeners, compressors, medical gas system, alarms, motors and emergency generators to insure the comfort and safety of patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining the systems, equipment and facilities in a clean, safe operating condition in accordance with local, state and federal regulations and department policies. Essential Functions: Cleans, lubricates, services, repairs, installs, and diagnoses malfunctions of HVAC/R equipment, sterilizers, laundry and dietary equipment, ice makers and refrigeration equipment, electrical system and other plant specialty equipment such as boilers and chillers.
