Other responsibilities as a Pediatric ER Travel Nurse include documenting medical history, checking for any allergies the patients might have, obtaining patients' vital signs, and monitoring patients' emotional and physical well-being. Because of the fast-paced environment, Pediatric Emergency Room RNs must possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds, especially the adolescent population.
