Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Under the supervision of experienced attorneys, assist in the management of caseloads for agency administrative hearings including preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials; review and evaluate cases to effectively negotiate plea and settlement agreements with respondents and legal representatives; interview consumer complainants to obtain details and to determine appropriate charging violations and settlement offers; review dispositions for summonses dismissed at OATH; draft appeals, legal memos, and advisory opinions; make determinations based on legal research; and provide legal support as needed.
