Under the direction of the Director, the Technician is also responsible for recording classes and events, helping with the creation, maintenance and upkeep of departmental documents, the scheduling and inventorying of equipment, advising and instructing faculty, students and administrators in the use of audiovisual equipment and software, coordinating with internal partners and external contractors and vendors on system installations or repairs, and representing the department in stakeholder meetings. Under the direction of the Director of Audiovisual Technology Services, the Audiovisual Technology Services Technician performs all aspects of audiovisual and instructional technology support for classes, meetings, special events, conferences, and co-curricular activities for the College community.
