This unique position includes a 50% teaching assignment and 50% responsibilities to serve as Producer for an extensive academic theatre season.Principal Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach courses based on expertise in any of the following areas:<ul><li>Arts administration</li><li>Acting</li><li>Directing</li><li>Musical theatre</li><li>Dance</li><li>Theatre design and technology</li></ul>As Producer, the candidate will collaborate closely with the Production Manager, the Department Chair for Performing Arts, and the faculty of Theatre Arts to ensure the successful planning and execution of the academic theatre and dance season. Responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Production budgeting and reconciliation</li><li>Production licensing</li><li>Liaising with guest artists</li><li>Contract negotiation through production</li><li>Casting oversight</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Additional responsibilities include service to the Department and College.Contact Information
