Job Summary The City of St. Peters is seeking a passionate and creative Art Specialist (Writing) to lead engaging writing programs within our instructional art camp. This role is responsible for developing curriculum, overseeing program activities, and fostering a supportive environment for aspiring writers.Camp Dates: July 27th through July 31st Hiring Deadline:Must be hired by May 15 to attend required camp trainingsNormal Shift: Monday- Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop, refine, and implement writing-focused programs aligned with camp objectives and City policies.</li><li>Design and lead writing workshops, encouraging creativity and skill development in various literary forms.</li><li>Establish and enforce safety and risk management procedures for participants, staff, and equipment.</li><li>Set and uphold standards for program operations, customer service, and participant engagement.</li><li>Supervise and coordinate daily writing program activities.</li><li>Manage check-in and check-out procedures for participants.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with staff, participants, and families.</li><li>Ensure compliance with City safety standards and policies.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Minimum Requirements<ul><li>Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker.</li><li>Bachelor of Arts Degree in related field, and two (2) years of applicable experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>One (1) year experience working with children.</li></ul>Why Join Us? As a Principal Tech Artist for OURO Interactive, you’ll be at the forefront of shipping cross-platform VR/MR and mobile experiences for the ever-expanding Horizon metaverse. Required Skills: Principal Technical Artist Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain art production workflows and pipelines by creating features, tools, plugins, and scripts to aid artists, reduce pain points, and speed up iteration cycles 2. Provide input on the ongoing development of the primary game engine, editor, and tooling to our cross functional partners on other teams 3.
