Working alongside Art faculty and students, the assistant helps prepare and maintain studio spaces, materials, tools, and equipment; supports classroom demonstrations and studio projects; provides hands-on assistance to students with art materials, techniques, and processes; and helps ensure that Visual Arts studios remain safe, organized, clean, and productive learning environments. Physical Demands: Ability to perform duties associated with an active studio environment, including prolonged standing and walking; bending, stooping, reaching, and working at tables or equipment; and lifting, carrying, or moving classroom materials, supplies, artwork, and moderately sized items with appropriate assistance and in accordance with safety procedures.
