This role is a hands-on leadership position that requires a unique blend of creative expertise and technical proficiency in operating large-format printers, vinyl cutters, and RIP software. The manager ensures all output meets strict quality standards and branding guidelines while maintaining an efficient, safe, and cost-effective shop environment.  Responsibilities <ul><li>Overseeing production and design of signs </li><li>Operating HP Latex printers, Graphtec plotters and Royal Sovereign laminators</li><li>Producing signs</li><li>Designing and Proofing signs</li><li>Managing computer and art files</li><li>Working with our Project Managers, Customers and Partner Firms</li><li>Maintaining company signage equipment</li><li>Maintaining cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>3-5+ years of experience in the sign industry </li><li>Knowledge of vinyl creation, application, and large-format digital printing (experience with HP printers and ONYX RIP software is a plus but not required)</li><li>Strong computer and file management skills, particularly with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop</li><li>Familiarity with sign industry software like Corebridge or Cyrious is a bonus</li><li>Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and strong multi-tasking abilities</li><li>Clear communication skills are a must</li><li>Excellent people skills—you’ll be interacting with both customers and vendors in a fast-paced team environment</li><li>Basic math skills</li><li>Drivers’ license and a dependable vehicle required.</li></ul>While this role includes some graphic design responsibilities, it's key that you also have experience in sign manufacturing. If you’re strictly a graphic designer without experience in sign production, this role will not be the right fit.   You may be a good fit if you have experience working for:  <ul><li>A sign company</li><li>A screen printing or traditional printing company</li><li>A marketing area within a company or for an advertising agency </li><li>A light manufacturing company</li></ul>
