As a part of a vast, international network of corporate and industrial resources, Tsubaki offers its customers the finest state-of-the-art products available in the world and we strive to be the “Best Value” supplier in the industry.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.<ul><li>Studies and interprets blueprints to visualize final form of die, part or tool, and plans sequence of operations to achieve desired end result</li><li>Works from prints, sketches, verbal or written instructions, or from existing part to be copied or fitted</li><li>Lifts, positions, and secures parts to be machined on surface plate or worktable, using hoist, vises, v-blocks, or angle plates</li><li>Sets up and operates machine tools such as manual grinders and other equipment.</li><li>Plans the set up and operation of tooling considering types of material, tolerances, types of cutting tools, coolants, lubricants, and grinding dimensions.</li><li>Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts, using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, and gage blocks</li><li>Fits and assembles jigs, fixtures, tools and dies, using wrenches, hammers, arbor or hydraulic presses</li><li>Trouble shoots poor performing tools, identifying deficiencies and suggesting improvements</li><li>Inventories, requests, and investigates alternative cutting tools and shop supplies</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered</li><li>Technical schooling a plus</li><li>5+ years working in machine shop environment with die assembly and installations</li><li>Experience with grinders and other related equipment</li><li>Math skills up to basic trigonometry (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, finding an angle or tangent)</li><li>Mechanical aptitude to understand how processes operate</li><li>Technical skills and experience to solve complex problems and trouble shoot</li><li>Analytical and critical thinking skills to foresee issues with designs or processes and come up with alternate solutions</li><li>Attention to detail to ensure the highest level of precision in finished work</li><li>Time management and having a sense of urgency for the jobs at hand</li><li>Ability to work with others in a fast-paced manufacturing setting</li></ul> U.S. Tsubaki offers:<ul><li>A competitive compensation package, including health benefits effective on date of hire, generous 401(k) match and profit sharing, education reimbursement, and annual bonus potential</li><li>Paid vacation time</li><li>90-day and 180-day performance reviews</li><li>Shift differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shift</li><li>Weekly bonus potential</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Weekly pay </li><li>Shift: 4 days a week, 10 hours per day. </li><li>Days: Monday - Thursday (standard schedule).
