Administer a wide variety of methods, procedures, and techniques to lay out, install, overhaul and maintain various types of machines encompassing mechanical and electrical systems Clean and lubricate equipment and machinery and adjust and examine parts for defects in the warehouse Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, handle boiler blow downs, and record readings of critical operating parameters as the technician Records repairs, maintenance, parts, materials used, and orders or requisitions new parts and materials As part of the selection process, candidates must successfully pass a technical skills assessment evaluating facility maintenance, building systems, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility reliability support capabilities.
