<div><p/><p>STS Technical Services is hiring Assemblers in Jefferson City, Tennessee.</p><h3>Position Summary</h3><p>STS Technical Services is seeking Assemblers to support equipment manufacturing operations in Jefferson City, Tennessee. In this role, you will assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.</p><p>This is hands-on production work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where consistency, attention to detail, and teamwork matter every shift.</p><h3>Job Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulic components on JLG and Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques</li><li>Install accessories including decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights</li><li>Safely operate overhead cranes to position and move parts during assembly</li><li>Use hand and pneumatic tools including wrenches, hammers, and torque guns with accuracy</li><li>Measure materials and components accurately using tape measures and related tools</li><li>Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components as required</li><li>Identify required options using schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions</li><li>Lift and stack subassemblies and parts, including solo lifts up to 35 pounds and team lifts up to 60 pounds</li><li>Cross-train and support multiple assembly areas as needed</li><li>Follow written and verbal instructions precisely</li><li>Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards</li><li>Keep work areas clean and safe in compliance with safety requirements and 6S standards</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Ability to maintain regular and reliable onsite attendance</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor environments</li></ul><h3>Working Conditions</h3><ul><li>Work performed in a manufacturing or production environment</li><li>Exposure to loud noise, dust, moving machinery, and changing temperatures may occur</li><li>Frequent standing, repetitive motion, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling required</li><li>Position may require bending, kneeling, climbing, and operating tools and equipment</li><li>Personal Protective Equipment must be worn as required</li><li>Visual and auditory awareness required for safe equipment operation and communication</li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be considered for qualified individuals with disabilities</li></ul><h3>About STS Technical Services</h3><p>STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with leading organizations across aerospace, manufacturing, defense, and industrial sectors. This role is on 1st shift, with hours from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and is located on-site at our manufacturing facility in <b>Greeneville, TN</b>. </p><p><b>Roles Responsibilities</b>: </p><ul><li>Safely perform basic fabrication and assembly tasks under supervision, following company and regulatory standards. </li><li>Maintain attention to quality; promptly report defective materials or unusual conditions to supervision. </li><li>Operate basic hand tools and simple machinery to assist with processing and assembling components. </li><li>Follow instructions, drawings, or work guides to complete assigned tasks within required specifications. </li><li>Assist in the setup and operation of equipment such as saws, shears, and spot welders under direction. </li><li>Use jigs, fixtures, and clamps to align and secure workpieces with accuracy. </li><li>Handle, move, and lift materials safely, including tubing and components. </li><li>Keep work area clean, organized, and safe; support 6S/lean manufacturing practices. </li><li>Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. </li></ul><p><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, standard work documents, routings, and use measuring devices (e.g., calipers, tape measures, gauges). </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and reliability. </li><li>Consistent and punctual attendance. </li><li>Physical ability to lift, move, and handle metal tubing and related materials as required. </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. </li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication </li><li>Familiarity with fabrication tools </li><li>Experience interpreting detailed technical drawings or specifications. </li><li>Knowledge of 6S, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices. </li></ul><p><b>Immigration Sponsorship Not Available:</b></p><ul><li>Applicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.). </li><li>Donaldson will not offer immigration sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa for this position. </li><li>International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the U.S. will not be considered. </li></ul><p>Keywords: <b>M</b><b><b>a</b>nufacturing, Production, Assembly, Fabrication, Teamwork, Safety, Quality Assurance</b></p><p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans </p><p>Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
