This is primarily a teaching position and the person appointed to the position will teach in some of the following areas: Integrated pest management, weed biology, tree and fruit crop production and management, principles of horticulture and practices, nursery production, crop physiology, plant breeding and agricultural propagation. The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is a multidisciplinary program blending contributions from several of academic departments in support of lower and upper division core courses serving four concentrations: Agricultural Biology, Agricultural Economics, Sustainable Agriculture, and General Agriculture.
