Springwell is seeking an Intake Assessor to help people have their voice heard about their care needs! <h5>Senior Facility Assessor </h5>We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Senior Facility Assessor to join our team in our Boston, MA office. Serves as the senior facility assessor within a project team to produce comprehensive high quality condition assessments and due diligence engineering evaluations. Trains and mentors junior staff and where necessary is the client interface in the field. <h5>Your Role </h5><ul><li>Evaluate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to determine condition, remaining useful life end required expenditures and remedial measures. </li><li>Complete comprehensive and high-quality condition assessment and due diligence engineering evaluations of varying building types throughout the U.S. </li><li>Handle multiple assessment projects in condensed timeframe. </li><li>Project manage the deliverable of small to medium sized assessment projects. </li><li>Provide client relationship management. </li><li>Identify and develop facility options to satisfy project objectives of client. </li><li>New business development. </li><li>Train and mentor junior staff. </li><li>May perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary. </li><li>Work involves complex or novel assignments requiring diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments. Work requires the use of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices. </li><li>Consistently exercises independent judgment. Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters. The Town of Brookline is seeking an Assistant Assessor - Residential/Commercial to perform complex administrative, professional, and supervisory work in analyzing valuation data. The Assistant Assessor supervises, operates, and maintains data systems for residential, commercial, industrial, personal property and exempt property. Assists with all Appellate Tax Board work including court hearings. Assists in valuing all real property. Assists the Board of Assessors with various aspects of municipal tax assessment; all other related work as required.Essential Functions:<ul><li>Analyzes real estate market conditions and events to determine trends and changes in the market. Collects data from the Planning Board, Building Inspector, Housing Authority, and other boards/officials whose actions may reflect a change in value.</li><li>Identifies exempt property within the Town. Reviews and processes applications for abatement and exemption of property tax to determine eligibility; makes recommendations to the Board. Supervises and reviews the statutory filings of the elderly, widows, and veterans to determine eligibility and appropriateness, making recommendations to the Chief Assessor and Board of Assessors.</li><li>Supervises, coordinates and directs staff in implementing residential exemption; this requires periodic review, inspection, and updating.</li><li>Assists with field functions in valuing residential, commercial, industrial properties. Supervises, coordinates, and reviews personal property valuation.</li><li>Assists in the inspection and measuring of real and personal property in order to estimate fair market value for taxation purposes.
