Assist in monthly financial statement preparation, including journal entries and general ledger reviewPerform month-end account reconciliations across assigned general ledger accountsMaintain and update owned and leased fixed asset ledgersSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the parent companyAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reporting for local, state, and parent company requirementsPrepare daily deposit of cash receiptsReview employee expense reports for proper codingMonitor outstanding receivables and research delayed or overdue payments in coordination with billing, project management, and customersResearch financial and tax topics as neededRespond to inquiries from management and the parent companySupport coordination of financial statement reviews and audits from both internal and external firmsCollect, analyze, and report financial data to support decision-makingOrganize and maintain financial records and related documentation. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5 years of progressive accounting experienceBlend of public accounting and industry experience strongly preferredConstruction industry experience preferred, whether from audit clients during public accounting or direct industry rolesStrong understanding of GAAP and familiarity with SOX internal controlsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and database managementStrong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
