POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of duties in the laboratory, including, but not limited to, drawing blood, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, data entry and management, record keeping, preparing specimens and requisitions for reference lab tests, reporting of results, maintaining inventory and restocking, and maintaining equipment, and general cleaning. Receives the physician requests and collects blood specimens from patients by performing venipunctures, heelsticks or fingersticks.
