Assists Provider in examination, procedure/minor surgery such as suturing, incision and drainage of skin abscess/cyst, debridement of finger/toenail, removal of foreign body Provides pre and post procedure instructions/care to the patient as directed by the Provider/Registered Nurse. Assists in the screening of patients presenting for a medical evaluation by a Provider by appointment/walk in/urgent care to include, but not limited to, taking vital signs, weight, height, calculate BMI, obtaining chief complaint/history, allergies, current medications, LNMP for females.
