Operate the following tools and equipment: personal computer, copy machine, fax machine, telephone, shredder, audio/visual equipment, television, VCR, automobile, emergency radio, first aid equipment, firearms, baton, pepper spray, handcuffs, metal detectors, and other defense-related equipment. Communicate courteously and effectively with other City employees, officials, and the public, including persons of diverse backgrounds, without bias or prejudice, maintaining alertness, composure, helpful attitude and professionalism in all circumstances, including stress, verbal abuse, criticism, and/or other adverse conditions.
