Serves as the primary point of contact for strategic financial planning for the assigned department, workingclosely with the department chair, department administrator, faculty, and laboratories to provide strategicfinancial guidance across sponsored research portfolios and non-sponsored budgets, including review offinancial performance, funding gaps, trends, and areas of financial risk or opportunity. 3. Provides guidance and escalation support to managers and staff on complex grant administration,financial, sponsor, and institutional matters and assists with developing appropriate solutions incoordination with the assigned departments chair and department administrator, as appropriate.
