The RN is responsible for providing clinical leadership to the unit, including defining, planning, organizing, directing, managing, implementing, and evaluating nursing services provided to residents, in addition to dispensing medications, and communicating with the primary physician, family, other care staff, etc, regarding resident issues and needs.
