Plan, organize and direct maintenance and construction projects which result in major physical changes to the course including, but not limited to installing and maintaining irrigation systems, rebuilding tee boxes, servicing equipment, conducting inspections to determine the need for fertilizing, seeding, sodding, watering, and cutting of grass, identifying problems and initiating appropriate measures to prevent damage to turf. JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, coordinates, develops, and trains staff engaged in the care and maintenance of golf course grounds and park sites; operates specialized equipment necessary for the maintenance of golf course grounds.
