To create and maintain a wholesome atmosphere for learning, one which exhibits such traits as neat appearance, good sportsmanship, respect for coaches, officials, teammates, and opponents. If the injury is extremely severe, the coach should accompany the student-athlete to the hospital - this means making sure that another adult can watch the other student-athletes.
