<div><strong>Accounting & Finance Assistant Manager </strong></div><div><strong>Pay: $70k per year </strong></div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong>Job Summary</strong><br/>This interim role supports and oversees accounting and finance operations, with a planned transition into the Manager position within two years. The position requires a hands-on approach to financial management, reporting, and process improvement.</div><div><br/></div><div><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></div><ul><li>Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations</li><li>Oversee cash management, disbursements, and cash flow planning</li><li>Perform month-end close and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports</li><li>Coordinate audit activities and liaise with auditors and internal teams</li><li>Work with external tax preparers and support budgeting and financial planning</li><li>Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes</li><li>Complete ad-hoc financial projects as needed</li></ul><div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting required</li><li>Minimum of 8 years of experience, including manufacturing industry experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP and general tax principles</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)</li><li>Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills</li><li>High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities</li></ul>
