This role is dedicated to supporting our MarketForce team, playing a critical part in maintaining compliance, driving efficiency, and delivering timely, actionable financial insights.The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and brings a strong foundation in accounting best practices. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
<h3 class="">Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Manage the day-to-day accounting functions for MarketForce, including general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.</li><li>Supervise and develop a team of accountants, ensuring timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.</li><li>Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and variance analyses for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Maintain compliance with internal policies, accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and audit requirements.</li><li>Monitor and improve accounting processes and systems to increase accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries.</li><li>Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.</li><li>Assist in the implementation of new accounting standards, process improvements, and technology tools.</li><li>Ensure data consistency, reporting accuracy, and clear documentation across all financial records.</li><li>Support the Director of Accounting with strategic initiatives, special projects, and ad hoc reporting.</li></ul>

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

The Ideal candidates for this position are highly motivated and dedicated and should possess the below qualities: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.</li><li>6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.</li><li>Experience in a BPO, shared services, or multinational business environment is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.</li><li>Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.</li><li>Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.</li></ul>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
