Technician responsibilities include the troubleshooting and repair/overhaul of hydraulic, mechanical, electromechanical and pneumatic aircraft components such as landing gear, pumps, brakes, actuators, valves and like components, the operation of various test equipment including high pressure hydraulic stands, mechanical stands and precision measuring equipment, and the return of the component back to service in an airworthy condition. Participation in an alcohol and drug testing program for the following drugs: Marijuana - Opioids - Cocaine -Amphetamines - Phencyclidine - MDA (methylenedioxyamphetamine) - Heroin (6-Acetylmorphine) - or a metabolite of these drugs as you will be performing an important safety-sensitive job covered by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
