We focus on episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries, workers' compensation, and occupational medicine. Your Role as a Medical Assistant: As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in patient care, supporting our licensed providers and ensuring a seamless experience for all patients. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Obtaining patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit</li><li>Preparing patients for physical exams</li><li>Explaining procedures and treatments to patients</li><li>Ensuring all ordered tests are performed accurately and promptly</li><li>Administering prescribed medications and treatments</li><li>Performing blood draws and lab tests for in-house and reference lab processing</li><li>Conducting drug screening procedures following regulations</li><li>Documenting patient immunizations and administering vaccines</li><li>Coordinating physician referrals and pre-certifications when needed</li><li>Maintaining exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and managing supplies</li><li>Accurately documenting patient care and responding to lab messages</li><li>Assisting with other duties as assigned </li></ul>What We're Looking For: <ul><li>Previous Medical Assistant experience with certification</li><li>A strong team player with excellent critical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to anticipate patient and provider needs</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills </li></ul>Apply Today!
