In-office duties may include but are not limited to taking incoming triage calls, make outgoing patient monitoring calls directed by providers, monitoring providers Cerner message centers, including reviewing results and forwarding urgent results and messages to covering providers, emergent nursing assessments on symptomatic patients in clinic, EKG review for medication surveillance, emergent medication administration including IV placement, and occasional monitoring patients waiting for transport to NL EMMC via ambulance. Seeks and maintains knowledge of community services/resources, support programs, different levels of care services to include, but not limited to home health services, long-term care, skilled level of care, free/reduced drug programs and state and federal programs.
